A non-invasive way to restore weak pelvic floor.
The EMSELLA chair focuses on improving pelvic floor muscles by initiating 12,000 kegel-like exercises in 28 minutes. This non-invasive procedure is fast and effective with no downtime, and the patient remains fully clothed.
This technology is approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for pelvic floor muscle strengthening, urinary incontinence, incontinence after radical prostatectomy, female sexual dysfunction and pelvic pain syndrome in males and females.

What conditions does EMSELLA help with?
- Stress urinary incontinence
- Urge urinary incontinence
- Post-prostatectomy
- Sexual dysfunction
- Post-childbirth recovery
How does it work?
The chair uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to stimulate the deep pelvic floor muscles. The HIFEM technology triggers pelvic floor muscle (PFM) contractions by targeting neuromuscular tissue and inducing electrical currents.
What makes this treatment effective is the focused electromagnetic energy, which induces thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions with each session. This is extremely beneficial for muscle strengthening and re-education.
How EMSELLA works for men
Infections, prostate cancer or stress can have a negative impact on men’s intimate health.
Before
Pelvic floor muscles insufficiently support pelvic organs and affect bladder control.
Treatment
The technology effectively stimulates pelvic floor muscles and increases blood flow.
After
Stimulation leads to regained control over pelvic floor muscles and bladder.
How EMSELLA works for women
Body aging, childbirth and menopause can lead to incontinence in women.
Before
Pelvic floor muscles insufficiently support pelvic organs and affect bladder control.
Treatment
The technology effectively stimulates pelvic floor muscles and increases blood flow.
After
Stimulation leads to regained control over pelvic floor muscles and bladder.
What to expect during treatment?
When the treatment begins, you will experience a slight tingling and vibrations in your pelvic floor muscles that will then turn into full contractions. The treatment should be comfortable and tolerable. If not, please let the practitioner know. The session lasts for 28 minutes.
Unfortunately, the EMSELLA is not suitable for patients who are currently pregnant, have a pacemaker, metal plates such as hip replacements, defibrillator or if you have a copper coil or IUD.
EMSELLA FAQs
The EMSELLA helps patients to restore the control of their bladder, pelvic floor muscles and eliminate incontinence or any kind of intimate discomfort. This technology is also a non-invasive procedure where patients remain fully clothed.
The EMSELLA is the only procedure that targets pelvic floor muscles and causes deep pelvic floor stimulation because of HIFEM® technology.
Other procedures such as intravaginal electrostimulation have a risk of burns and lack the effect as the electrical current treats tissue only superficially, not even mentioning the need to insert the disposable vaginal probe.
Comparing to Kegels, patients are not able to properly contract pelvic floor muscles, build the routine to do Kegels at least three times per day and do them in hundreds of repetitions to see some results.
The EMSELLA is suitable for both men and women who are experiencing symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction, such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, or difficulty with sexual function. It may be particularly useful for individuals who have weakened pelvic floor muscles due to aging, childbirth, or other medical conditions.
Yes, the EMSELLA is a non-invasive medical device that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, which can help improve muscle strength and alleviate symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction.
No, the procedure is completely painless and the procedure feels like an intense pelvic floor workout.
